About the project · 2024
A residence documented sheet by sheet, not as a folio.
A G+2 home broken out into 15 vector sheets so architecture, structure and setting-out each live on their own page — but read together as one coordinated set.
- Overview
- Ashwin House is a compact G+2 residence with a clean rectangular footprint, an internal stair core and a rear service block. The drawing set treats every discipline as a first-class citizen instead of squeezing them onto a single sheet.
- Scope
- Full working documentation — plinth and beam plans for structure, floor plans for architecture, and elevations and sections for the envelope. Every sheet is drawn as a vector PDF so it stays sharp from A3 print to full site-blueprint scale.
- Delivery
- 15 sheets: 08 architectural plans, 11 structural (plinth + beam + column layouts), 03 elevations, plus long and cross sections. Each sheet is opened separately so the site engineer never has to fight a huge composite drawing to find the piece they need.
- Notes
- The beam-plan / floor-plan pairing is what makes this set useful on site — the beam layout for a level is drawn to the same grid and setting-out as its architectural plan, so any dimension check can be done by flipping between two consecutively numbered sheets.
